Located on the 1 floor of a building near Ueno Station, CAFE＆BAL CoCo combines the ease of a daytime café with the flexibility of an evening bar. Set back slightly from the energy around Ameyoko, it suits visits across the day, whether for a substantial lunch or an evening glass of wine.
During weekday lunch hours, set menus include salad, soup, and a drink. The noodle lineup features the signature CoCo Yellow Bolognese, spicy pollack roe pasta, and weekly pasta specials, accompanied by rice-based set meals such as stamina-style eggplant and pork stir-fry in house spicy sauce, alongside Japanese fried chicken. Free upsizing for noodles and rice makes it a reliable choice for a filling lunch.
At dinner, small plates that pair well with wine take center stage, including shrimp and mushroom ajillo served with baguette and negillo green-onion ajillo. The pizza selection ranges from classic Margherita and Quattro Formaggi to garlic mushroom and snack-style pies, practical for both solo drinking and sharing. Affordable house wine, beer, and cocktails are on hand to keep drinks casual.

Weekday lunch sets include house-made fried chicken set meal (¥950), eggplant and pork stamina stir-fry set meal (¥950), and weekly pasta (¥980), all served with drink, salad, and soup, with free upgrades for noodle and rice portions.
Set drink options like coffee and oolong tea can be chosen for ¥0, or alcoholic beverages such as glass beer, glass wine, and highballs can be selected for an additional ¥250.
